Windows 10: Maxthon Nitro Browser

Hi All,
I was just curious just how many member's in here are trying out / using the latest maxthon nitro browser. I mistakenly installed the 'regular' version of maxthon cloud browser..to be quite frank, I hated it. Hopefully I might actually like the nitro version. At least for me, it will have to be significantly better than the latest firefox beta version I enjoy using.

I have had an overall good experince in using new Browser :

It's main selling point was "No Ads" and I have been able to experience that: "No Ads"

I had all the bad (AdCoices/adds overwelming) in Explorer/Edge browser,

I have had to return to other browsers to get Comcast/Xfinity to work; but mostly:

I've used it and it's a good browser.. IMO.

 

It's too plain for me, no way to customize..no add-ons..etc.

 

I've been using it, after Edwin kept mentioning it, the last few days.

It's real fast but I will only use it on sites I trust, because I can't change the default search engine, and it doesn't have any options to tighten up security(for me the only real con). That said it was designed light so it can be fast, so for example it renders real quick by not having so much background stuff going on.

I find also pictures rendered in it(for example Bing images or screenshots) look better in Nitro than IE & Chrome.

 

I think that the look of a browser is a distant secondary issue to the purpose of being both functional and fast. The more add-ons the more slow and buggy the browser can become.

 

I've been using MxNitro quite a while now when I just need a fast browser to read news or some other simple task. Even wrote something about back in September is our sister site: Solved MxNitro - The Fastest Browser I Have Ever Used!

However, the browser you hate is my absolute favorite and the one I normally use. Have not found a more reliable and flexible browser yet, Maxthon works for me.

 

In use here. I'm impressed with it.

 

I have to totally agree.. it's nice simple and fast. What more do you need in a browser??

 

For now, I will pass. I'm having way too many problems with IE, FF and Chrome graphics/video to try anything new before I get to the bottom of my video ills.

 

I installed it but did not like.

 

It's quite nice but need some work, I have sent feedback.
