    Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus and Windows 10


    My PC stopped recognizing this drive. Used to work fine on Windows 7 machine. I do not have that machine so used it on Window 10 but no response. When you check the drive in Devices it says everything works fine. Updated the driver, changed the USB cable and port. No luck...I have some important files on this drive. Any help/tips is very much appreciated.

    Maxtor OneTouch 4

    During the preview version of Win10 I was able to find Win10 drivers that worked on Seagate's official site. Now that the Win10 is released the OneTouch 4 isn't recognized. Kindly help me understand why drivers worked during preview phase but won't work
    on release version. This is not fair to the consumer now, boatloads of people will have to buy new external drives if there is no driver support. If there are Win10 drivers for this device please give me the link to them. I surely will download ASAP.

    OT- maxtor onetouch 4

    need help i just upgrade my pc i use to have a imac from 2011 and i was using maxtor onetouch 4 external HD but i move to windows 10

    and i have a problem now my external HD wont show on windows when i plug the wire the notification goes on and i can see the external HD icon, on devices manager but won't reveal on desktop or, on this PC option cant access the files

    i may have to go back to apple and return the new pc

    please help what can i do

    Maxtor (Seagate) Onetouch 3 Mini backup and Windows 10

    I have now got an HP notebook with Windows 10 installed. I used to backup to a Maxtor Onetouch 3 Mini and found it very efficient. Will I still be able to use it with my new computer? I've seen Maxtor Onetouch 3 Mini driver downloads on the net, but wouldn't
    know which site to trust. All help much appreciated as Maxtor's website(Seagate) isn't very helpful.
