Based on the information you have provided, you have tried a number of solutions, including deleting the client folder, resetting the computer, upgrading the software, and attempting to resolve the issue through the registry and command prompt, but the problem persists. I have a few more suggestions here that may be of interest to you:





    1. Check the Windows service configuration:

    Open the Run dialog box (Win key + R), type services.msc and enter.

    Find the service related to Dell Client Management in the list of services.

    Right-click on the service, select Properties, and under the Login tab, check that the service is using the correct account.

    Under the "Recovery" tab, you can set the recovery action after a failure, such as restarting the service on "first failure".



    2. Clean up startup and perform clean start:

    Sometimes, third-party software and services may conflict with Dell Client Management at startup. Try a clean bootHow to perform a clean boot in Windows - Microsoft Support, loading only the most necessary drivers and startup items to see if this resolves the issue.

    Plugged In, Not Charging - Windows 10, Dell XPS 18

    Thanks for your suggestion, but there is no Dell driver category for "Power Management". I read through the FAQ's for the driver categories on the Dell site, and "Power Management" is not listed in any of the categories. I cannot locate where to find
    the "Power Management" driver in the Dell categories??? Any further suggestions/help?

    Dell Backup and Recovery Manager does not recognize my Dell


    After the upgrade to Win 10 Pro from Win 7 Pro, my Dell Backup and Recovery Manager gives me an error message basically saying it does not recognize my Dell [e5420 laptop]. Dell support suggested I contact Microsoft support as this new problem is due to the Win 10 upgrade. MS support suggested getting a product upgrade from Dell (I have the latest version!)

    Anyone know what is going on? I reinstalled Dell System Detect, which appears to work fine, but still the Backup and Recovery Manager does not see a Dell product.
