Windows 10: Maxx Audiowizard missing after Windows 10 reboot on Asus Laptop

So, I did a reboot and installed all the latest drivers, including Realtek's audio driver. I can hear the effect of the AudioWizard being active on default (probably on music-mode) and it's very fustrating to not be able to change that.




Also, manually installing AudioWizard gives this error:




I'm working with audio most of the time, and to have a driver that compresses the signal isn't very ideal. Any help?

Waves Maxxaudio not working

I have found a workaround for your asus laptop! I personally have a asus n56vz and after the latest windows 10 update the maxx audio or audiowizard was gone. Or it would pop up all white.

This is the workaround:

• Download these realtek drivers http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/DriversForWin8/Audio/Audiao_Realtek_Win8_64_VER6017023.zip
• Instal the drivers
• Restart the laptop
• Now go to device manager
• Go to realtek drivers update
• Let windows installer search for a update and install it.
• Now restart your machine and it should work.

Missing Waves MaxxAudio after windows 10 update

Same problem with my ASUS M11BB desktop - I initiated a ticket with ASUS and their reply was to revert to Windows 8.1 if I wanted to use Maxx Audio. Sorely miss this driver/app and clearly ASUS has no plans to support Windows 10 on my desktop. This should
be a simple fix in that it is simply a driver issue - one that worked before the upgrade to Windows 10. Waves? Realtek? ASUS? Microsoft? Who will step up? Anyone?

If you don't feel like trying that yourself, then all that I can suggest is that you ask you local computer store to help, or find a friend who understands windows computers, show them this thread and ask them to help you with the process of installing the
hotkey utility.
