Windows 10: May 2019 Windows 10 Updates and ver 1511 BSOD

Good morning all -

We have three older machines (two i3's and one i5) in our office that for one reason or another have not been updated to 1803. We allowed the May updates last weekend to be deployed via WSUS. We like to wait for obvious reasons. However, we are seeing all ver 1511 OS's BSOD. Typically the dump indicates an issue with the FLTMGR.SYS file. Anyone else seeing this issue? I know we were so terribly wrong to keep 1511 in the environment, but just hadn't got around to updating these three important people machines.....

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

  • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release

HD 3850 AGP Code 43 Error on Windows 10 Anniversary Headache!!!

If the Version your using is still later than ver 1511 its designed not to work with AGP ( any AGP Support Removed )
and i do not know of any hack that will enable it to work

have you dug out that SSD and backed up your data and files that you need
That's the 1st Important Step.

Once you have done that you can wipe the drive and Reinstall
Version 1511 Build 10.0.10586
Then your in the Position of

I Would then Suggest you Lock it Down " No Updates no upgrading" and therefore no resumption of this Problem ( You might have to stop it going online )

Not Perfect but you end up with your System Running a Version of Win 10 ( as you must want ).

Ps once you get it working again as you want Image the Drive for Back up and restore.
Store back up off the PC

 

Windows 10 ver 1511 update

I find my Windows 10 Pro still haven't update to ver 1511 yet.

Windows update setting is automatic and Defer upgrades is unchecked. What can be the issue?
