Windows 10: May 2020 Update Error windows 10 pro 1909 for x64

After the May 12 update, I get a recurring error message saying: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\sxs.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f. My system is Windows 10 Pro version 1909 for x64. What do I need to do?
