  2. 3Colors Win User

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Maybe Hardware? :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.

  3. Standard Hardware Security not supported

    Hi Paul,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below to run hardware troubleshooter and let us know if that helps.

    Type "Troubleshooting" in the
Windows Search bar and press Enter.

    1. Click on "View All" in the top left corner.
    2. This will display the list of troubleshooters which are built-in in the computer. You can click on Hardware and Devices from the list and you can run the troubleshooter.

Also I would suggest to check if there are any update pending with regard to drivers and to do so, please follow steps mentioned below.

    1. Search for Device Manager in
      Windows
      search bar.
    2. Click on Device Manager.
    3. Check if there Yellow Exclamation Point in the list of drivers.

Make sure Windows is up to date.

    Hope it helps.

  4. Maybe Hardware?

    USB port maybe not working

Thank you for providing us those details. At this moment, we advise running the
Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter. This tool checks the hardware connected to your computer for common issues and gives details on how to rectify them. Here are the steps:

    • Using Search in Cortana, type Troubleshoot.
    • Choose Troubleshoot.
    • Click on Hardware and Devices under Find and fix other problems.

    • Select Run the troubleshooter and follow the prompt to run the troubleshooter.

Monitor the results afterwards. If there are any suggestions given by the troubleshooter, you may try those and check if it helps.

We'll be waiting for your update and response about this issue.
