  1. mbgc.db.trojan.2 file in Microsoft edge userdata folder

I'm a windows 11 user. Today, I just searched the word 'trojan' in file explorer's search. As results I got 5 files named "mbgc.db.trojan.2" which 2 of them sized as 1.53 MB and 3 of them sized as 1.54 MB. It is in the AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default\Extensions\bojobppfploabceghnmlahpoonbcbacn\2.6.17_0\db folder. Is this a malware? Please help ASAP.

    :)

  2. What is in UserData folder?

    There's a folder on my PC - C:\UserData.

It has subfolders - Documents, Downloads Music & Outlook.

I thought docs & downloads were saved to folders in my profile - C:\Users\username but these folders in
UserData are NOT empty. (Note: this is a shared office PC)

Outlook has my .PST files, which I can (sort of) understand. But documents & downloads?

By what process do files end up in UserData instead of (or as well as) my profile?

I already backup the Outlook folder: should I be backing up the Documents & Downloads folders as well? Are they leftovers from having to share this PC?
