    mbr2gpt.exe


    I try to covert mbr to gpt by mbr2gpt.exe on my hp pavilion g6-2103tu windows 10built 10.0.19043 laptop upgraded from windows 7 . Conversation was successful and then i manually disabled legacy boot order and enable secured boot order. After that i restarted my machine it failed to boot up showing error message boot device not found please install an operation system on your hard drive. Need help i am stuck

    The video explains that the methods used in your suggestion will destroy data and that is why the new utility MBR2GPT is the recommended solution. Since this utility is new with the latest Fall Creators Update, it may need updating. I hope someone has more
    experience with it and can shed some light on why it fails for me.
