Windows 10: Mbr2gpt partition failure... cant get usb to boot to reinstall windows

Long story short we all know why I did an mbr2gpt conversion. Microsoft is stopping support for windows 10 and my device supports secure boot but the windows install for windows 10 was mbr not gpt. In order to continue receiving security updates and support I wanted to get secure boot to get windows 11 without bypassing the need for secure boot.Now the issue- after having done the mbr2gpt the cmd prompt said conversion was successful. I went to restart and set up my bios for csm to be disabled and turn on secure boot but after hitting save and exit the pc will stay on bios logo and says "pr

Installing windows off of a USB stick

Step By Step from vista:
From admin cmd prompt

1. diskpart
1a. list disk
2. select disk 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
3. clean
4. create partition primary
5. select partition 1 (replace 1 with your usb drive)
6. active
7. format fs=fat32
8. assign
9. exit

Copy Windows Vista's DVD ROM content to the Flash Drive

xcopy d:\*.* /s/e/f e:\ (d being your vista cd and e being your usb stick)

And that's it, boot off your usb disk

 

MBR2GPT Error - Frustrated

I think those steps will fail because mbr2gpt is looking for a system partition, which you just deleted previously.

 

MBR2GPT: ValidateLayout: Too many MBR partitions found, no room to create EFI system partition.

I deleted the inactive recovery partition.

Then I ran the mbr2gpt conversion command. It was successful but I got below error:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>mbr2gpt /convert /disk:2 /allowfullos

MBR2GPT will now attempt to convert disk 2.
If conversion is successful the disk can only be booted in GPT mode.
These changes cannot be undone!

MBR2GPT: Before the new system can boot properly you need to switch the firmware to boot to UEFI mode!

So when I try to manually disable and enable winRE, I get below error:

REAGENTC.EXE: The Windows RE image was not found.
