    Windows security - actions recommended, It says my mcafee needs to be renewed, It does NOT!!! Cannot find a way to make this resolve itself, it's irritating because I think something actually needs attention.

    McAfee software renewal

    Update McAfee software to renew the subscription, windows will not allow any download, not from the windows store. Where is the setting to change that

    I have followed the steps in the first link but have not installed Malwarebytes Free yet. I was waiting to see if the McAfee renewal pop-up is gone. So far so good!

    So you recommend installing Malwarebytes Free?
