    Mcafee Safe connect wont allow me to unistall


    McAfee Safe Connect was accidentally installed with Adobe Reader. However it keeps popping up and does not even show up under installed apps. I found the file location but even right click "uninstall" does nothing. Thank you!

    I would uninstall any 3rd party antivirus and try running only built-in Defender which gives adequate protection, best Windows performance, least issues, and is from Microsoft who knows how to protect their OS best.

    If McAfee won't uninstall normally in Settings > Apps > Apps & Features, then use the special uninstall tool:

    Clean up anything they find, restart PC and then run both scans again until they come up clean.
