Windows 10: mcafee webadvisor background task hogging CPU until 80-100%

Discus and support mcafee webadvisor background task hogging CPU until 80-100% in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; i don't know what causing this but this mcafee webadvisor take so much CPU every i startup my Laptop and need 1 hour to down again how to fix it?...     mcafee webadvisor background task hogging CPU until 80-100%


    i don't know what causing this but this mcafee webadvisor take so much CPU every i startup my Laptop and need 1 hour to down again how to fix it? mcafee webadvisor takes 30%-50% CPU and the task manager show CPU usage 100% every startup but no apps use it just ho to 100%

    Thanks for the generl advice, but there isnt a store service this is a background task (backgroundtaskhost.exe), the fact a background task is allowed to use 100% cpu is clearly a bug, but anyway this is most likley scheduled task but there are no obvious
    candidates in the list of tasks.

    CPU constantly at 100% in task manager

    That is exactly what I did previously. I tried setting max to 80% to test and task managers cpu displays constant 80% instead of 100% on the performance tab and 80% above the cpu column in the users tab. Sadly it has no effect but thank you for the suggestion.

    Mobile Plans Background Task Host Hogs CPU -- and My Computer Is Not Mobile

    This morning, after using Task Manager to make SystemInterrupts behave like a cockroach does when the light is turned on, I found something called "Mobile Plans Background Task Host" hogging my CPU.

    Note that the only thing searching for "Mobile Plans Background Task Host" brought up had no "Mobile Plans" in it.

    My computer is a desktop machine, not a mobile phone ("Mobile Plans Background" brought up a lot of links about Mobile Phone Plans). It really should not be running this sort of thing at all.
