Windows 10: Mcrosoft Forum 291224 Too Many User Logins

Dear Microsoft Forum, I have 3 separate user logins on my Windows 7 Computer, by mistake. Everything got screwed up when I moved, and had some trouble, and mistakenly created too many user accounts. The 3 are: JHCAdministrator, JHC Standard User, and JHCCPAAdministrator I would like to have all my files accessable under JHCCPAAdministrator and under JHC Standard User, and get rid of JHCAdministrator. How can I do that?

Local user disappeared frin login options after upgrade

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I was unable to fix the issue. Here are my steps:

• I've uninstalled the last 3 updates (the ones from september):
  
  • however, they keep getting reinstalled:
    

• I've added two new users: one from the GUI, the other as you suggested in step 2:
  
  • They are listed under users;
    
• I've also booted in safe mode just to check.
  

I still have no way to login other than with the main account. No local users are available at login or when I go to start menu and click on my user.

Please advise

 

Windows users at login

I cannot see all of my user accounts on the login screen on a new Windows 10 laptop. I have an account for my son and it does not appear as a user on the login screen. It is listed if I display the users with the CMD prompt. The only account I see is my
account which is an admin. His account is a user. All the suggestions I've seen are not available on home edition.

So far I like it with just a few issues, and they are minor.

• The name of the person who created the thread and the date is really lite and hard to read for me.
• When you are logged in the thread titles are in bold and look great, but when you are logged out they are normal, and very hard to read. We have a lot of users that come, and do not login. So, I suggest changing it to where everything is bold if you are not logged in.
