Windows 10: MD files

071824-6609-01.dmp just got a memory management error, went through a whole routine yesterday that ended with a clean reinstall of windows, dont want it to start again

Cannot set default app for .md on Windows 11

I try to set default app for .md as followed :

Start > Settings > Apps > Default app > Type in: .md

But .md file is not found in the list.

 

Lumia 920 & md-310

yes the update dots are running for while at the top of the screen but it wont list md310.. its saying that there isnt any supported devices even tho Im listening music thru nokia md-310 at the same time

Thanks for the log. I compared the events and call stacks and could not determine the issue. But have these two suggestions:

1) Add your domain user account to the Backup Operators group.

2) Copy the Catalog files from the hard drive to the destination. The catalog files are almost identical (except for two database tables) when viewed in the ESE viewer. So, I guess copying them might help.

Open a Command Prompt and run:

• md E:\FileHistory\*** Email address is removed for privacy ***
  
• md E:\FileHistory\*** Email address is removed for privacy ***\UNIDOBHLAPTOP
  
• md E:\FileHistory\*** Email address is removed for privacy ***\UNIDOBHLAPTOP\Configuration
  

Once you're in the Configuration directory, run the following:

• cd /d E:\FileHistory\*** Email address is removed for privacy ***\UNIDOBHLAPTOP\Configuration
  
• copy C:\Users\ehab\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\FileHistory\configuration\*.*
