    MDI Parent Form resizes when dragging VB using Visual Studio 2019


    I have a MDI form with multiple fixed child forms which take up the entire MDI form except for a small 2px margin around the edges and between child forms. I could have used panels instead, but I want to be able to undock the windows when needed and move them to other screens. The problem is that when I move the MDI parent window even slightly, the window gets smaller by a few pixels width but by about 20 pixels in height. This causes the MDI form to be smaller than the contained child forms, and scroll bars then appear along the bottom and side. This cuts off the bottom part of the child

    MDI Parent Form resizes when dragging VB using Visual Studio 2019

    Visual studio 2015 The form resize itself when degugging

    Hi

    I have this problem in Visual studio 2015. I have set a fixed size for the form but when I run the debugging control the form resizes itself. I think it might have something to do with Windows display and resolutions settings or
    it might something with the auto-resize setting.

    How can I fix this?

    Any help would be appreciated.
