Windows 10: MDM on Windows 10: Office 365 installation unenlightened

MDM Enrollment


We are deploying MDM. All users have the same license assigned.

New equipment with Windows 10 Enterprise


Some Devices simply refuse to enroll in MDM and enroll in MAM instead

Devices are Hybrid AD joined. Some of these machines work beautifully and all our apps become enlightened



Every time a work file is opened in Outlook, regardless of type this is received




Exclusion policies make no difference, checking Enterprise context simply lists Personal. On the machines, where the MDM enrollment works the same apps same version etc. are listed as enlightened.


Event Viewer is of no help, some of the machines enroll and never list into Endpoint Device Management

Cortana & Office 365 Integration

We are trying to integrate Cortana with our Office 365 subscription, but it never works. Here are the steps we have done:

• Turned on Cortona in the Office 365 Admin portal
• We are using Windows 10 1703 – connected Office 365 service to Cortana

Did the same on windows 10 mobile with no luck, Cortana says its connected to Office 365, but sees no data and we are getting zero errors

We went rough office 365 support first and tried all fo their suggestions, they kicked us over to Windows support which is currently closed.

We are on v1703 with all updates in place, it does not work on Windows 10 desktop or mobile

any ideas? I can give you all steps 365 support had us run through if that will be helpful

windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016 and office 365

Thank you.I am using Office 365 licences such as office 365 A3 for faculty, A1 for faculty and A1 for students.



I didn't try to install office 365 desktop app, But the online version of 365app doesn't show in program list. we are using the MDM Intune also to push applications to the Devices in Azure AD. Active Inspire is one of the Applications.

is it possible to control Device From Office 365 when using windows 10 enterprise 2016 LTSB on Client Computers. If not please tell me a solution to fix this issue.

office 365 vs office 2013

my Microsoft surface came with 1 month trial of ms office 365 , now it's expired.now I wanna know if I she subscribe to office 365 or uninstall it & install office 2013. what's the difference between both?
