Windows 10: MDR-XB950B1 Sony Headphones Stereo Device Not Functioning.

Hello! This is a solution I wished to share with the Microsoft Community and anyone that experiences the issue of the Stereo device for the MDR-XB950B1 not working properly.

DISCLAIMER: THIS SOLUTION REMOVES THE USE OF THE MICROPHONE ON THE MDR-XB950B1 HEADPHONES

Description: Sony Bluetooth headphones with a microphone and it has two options for output settings.

These options are:
MDR-XB950B1 Stereo
MDR-XB950B1 Hands-Free AG Audio

While attempting to run applications such as Destiny or Roblox, I came across a problem with the MDR-XB950B1 in that, The Stereo Device used for output would not function at all, and instead the only sound you would receive is from the despite the sound setting being set as the default output and changing the app settings to use it by default.
So, the only way to truly capture the sound from the studio and remove any possibility for theHands-Free AG Audio by ultimately disabling it.

Unfortunately, setting the stereo option as the default output does not work for this

Here is a more summarized approach to it:

Press the Windows Key + Search up "Sound Settings" > Select Manage sound devices > Select the MDR-XB950B1 Hands-Free AG Audio and disable it

From the Manual of your sony mdr-xb950bt headphones:

• place unit 1 meter from bluetooth device
• enter pairing mode by pressing POWER button for 7 seconds
• when the device is detected, select MDR-XB950BT, if passkey asked for enter "0000"
• make the bluetooth connection from the bluetooth device

With this said, you should maybe set the allow to find this computer setting to "ON" to be on the safe side.
