Windows 10: MDS Installation on Windows docker Image

Hi,I tried installing MDS on Windows servercore Image mcr.microsoft.com/windows/servercore:ltsc2019 using below command and it says "You have selected a feature that is not supported on Windows Server Core. The supported features on Windows Server Core are: Database Engine Services, SQL Server Replication, Full-Text and Semantic Extractions for Search, Analysis Services, Client Tools Connectivity, Integration Services, and SQL Client Connectivity SDK."Installation Command===============.\MDS\setup\setup.exe /q /ACTION=Install /INSTANCENAME=MDS /FEATURES=MDS /UPDATEENABLED=0 /ISSVCACCOUNT='NT

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Issue Installing Windows Admin Center on Docker Image mcr.microsoft.com/windows/servercore:ltsc2019

I am having an issue while trying to install Windows Admin Center on a Docker container.

Docker Image: mcr.microsoft.com/windows/servercore:ltsc2019

Docker OS Version: 10.0.17763.805

I believe the problem to be centered around the firewall not being enable or available on the windows server core image.

error code: 1603

Command Line: WindowsAdminCenter1910.msi /qn /L*v! log.txt SME_PORT=8080 SSL_CERTIFICATE_OPTION=generate

Failing action: "CreateFirewallRule"

The failing action is the last action that is attempted before the installation fails.

How can I exempt the installation from trying to create a firewall rule?

 

Windows Server 2016 (1607) docker image pull fail

Good day,

I am having trouble getting docker to successfully pull an image on a newly set up Windows server 2016 (version 1607) (OS build 14393.2906)

Windows defender was deactivated. No Anti-virus was installed.

Docker version:

API version: 1.30 (minimum version 1.24)

Output:

As the image is being pulled I can see it in the C:\ProgramData\docker\windowsfilter file but just before it finishes the image disappears.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
