  1. mdsched.exe can't run on my Windows 10 Pro?

My apologies if this is better for another sub (if so, just direct me and I'll follow).

    For a quick background:
    - I purchased a 2013 Dell Precision T3600 from my college (for dirt cheap) as they were getting rid of their old computers. So issues were to be expected.
    - The computer did random reboots every 2-10 minutes. I tried but wasn't able to do a full restore, instead this crashed Windows. I was not able to reinstall Windows afterwards either.
    - Found out it was the HDD. The original HDD had 60 bad sectors, so I purchased a brand new SDD and have Windows working again.
    - The computer now does a random reboot about once every day or two.
    - Read online to run mdschede.exe through CMD, however when I run it and my computer restarts, it can't even get to 1% (it crashes before starting).
    - I read articles online that claimed it could be the RAM, so I swapped out my 4x4GB DDR3 SD-RAM for brand new 2x8GB DDR3 SD-RAM.
    - I just tried mdschede.exe again, but it still crashes at 0%.

All that being said, does anyone have an idea of what hardware could be the culprit? Could it be maybe the CPU or motherboard?

    Additional Info:
    - Edition: Windows 10 Pro
    - Version: 1909
    - OS Build: 18363.720

    - Device Manager shows "SAS Controller" as "Other devices" with no ability to install/update the driver.

Thanks in advance all and any help is greatly appreciated! Would love to get this PC up and running properly.

  3. Windows 10 Pro EXE problems

Just purchased a new (used) computer from Staples with Windows 10 Pro I tried downloading a few of my installer programs from the original sites that I own the licenses. First the download would not run or download untill i download using retry. the *.exe
files will not run. These installer programs keep getting a popup window with suggested programs to open the *.exe program with. Nothing there to indicate what to run it with. I think there is ether the file was deactivated by the windows security program
"Defender" or the associated "EXE" file has the associated program missing.

    Need help

mdsched.exe can't run on my Windows 10 Pro?

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
