Windows 10: MDT to re-install OS directly

Dear All,


We have MDT ready and running smoothly, there is no problem to install OS via network PXE boot option. However, we came across an issue to re-install OS via Litetouch vbs as mentioned at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/deploy-windows-mdt/upgrade-to-windows-10-with-the-microsoft-deployment-toolkit#add-windows-10-enterprise-x64-full-source.


The scenario is that the new laptops purchased from Chinese market place are always Windows Home edition in Chinese language only. The pain point to install OS via network with MDT is that some new models for example surface are not easy to be booted from network, and they require specified adapter to convert to wired network port, so if we could just re-install it from existing OS, that would save a lot of time.


I've tried litetouch script but it always returned captioned error, any suggestions would be really appreciated. Many thanks.

MDT Deployment Error after OS install

Hello Everyone,

MDT keeps displaying this error message. I receive the error message as soon the OS is done installing. It seems like it this error message is related to a script issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Install Diablo 3 on Linux

Just install PlayOnLinux? Why did they make step 2 and 3 of this "tutorial"?

Anyway, looking at the supported software list for PlayOnLinux, D3 is a step in the right direction. Lack of gaming is a factor for a lot of people when deciding on an OS, if more recent games get ported it may help migrate them to their preferred choice.
