Windows 10: MECM Prestage Media. Imported Different OS But still successful

I created prestaged media for my task sequence, I included the Windows 11 WIM I want installed and it was successful. However, when I reviewed my Task sequence, the apply OS step I was actually pointing to a different WIM Windows 10. How is the task sequence still installing the Windows 11 WIM if the apply OS step is pointing to a different WIM which I didn’t include in the prestage media.We run this media offline up to a certain point so there is no way it is installing the OS over the network.

MECM from Microsoft

One customer is using MECM from Microsoft to deploy their OS (Windows 11 IoT). He wants to know how to use manufacurer's drivers and deploy it in OS.

 

After Imaging PCs with 22h2 via MECM/SCCM the OS gets stuck on "Oops, You've Lost Internet Connection".

We are trying to roll out MECM imaging across our business and are currently testing how it works. We are able to image a PC using MECM with 22H2 but every time when they boot to the OS for the first time we see the "Oops, You've Lost Internet Connection" screen. Clicking retry just loops us back to this screen once it tries to connect to look for updates.

Looking at our internal firewall there are loads of IPs being blocked, but nowhere can we find a list of URLs/FQDNs to allow though our firewall and we don't really want to unblock these random IPs some of which are not Microsoft at all, plus I am pretty sure Microsoft changes theses IPs over time as testing a few months back brought the same issue with a different set of IPs showing in the firewall.

Can anyone help with this and provide a list of URLs that Microsoft requires for updates to Win 11 22H2 after a fresh image?
