I have set the updates in Windows 10 to only occur when I press the "Check For Updates" button, yet the OS keeps downloading updates by itself when I connect to the internet. I use internet on my laptop using data plans through my phone's hotspot hence the reason to make the updates as manual as possible but I keep having my data depleted when I haven't planned for it because of the automatic updates. How insufferable can Microsoft continue to be?
