Windows 10: Media Audio Quality deteriorates while picking up call from PC

Hi Team, Windows 11. I am facing this issue in my laptop Asus Zaephrus M16/ ASUS ROG STRIX, where, when I pick up a call from my laptop from any app viz. Whatsapp/Telegram/Google Meet, the quality of the media audio movie, songs etc playing in the background deteriorates. This happens whenever my earphones Airpods, SONY XBF 700 are connected with my device. Please assist as I do not face this issue on my other windows laptop Acer Predator Triton 500 SE.Thanks.

The quality of sound deteriorates with time


Hello

I have this unusual problem.
Sound quality deteriorates with time and system starts staggering if I watch video, Youtube or similar and use my PC in parallel.
If I listen to music in the background and try to surf internet at the same time, music starts stuttering as you can see in this video https://vid.me/sPXhG

Things get normal for week or similar, if I uninstall my sound drivers (AMD High Definition Audio Device version 10.0.0.3 and High Definition Audio Device version 10.0.14393.0) restart PC and let system reinstall drivers as you can see in this video https://vid.me/SuuCe (10 minutes after filming 1st video).

This never happened while I had Win 7 installed
Any ideas how to fix this problem?

Poor audio quality after upgrading to Windows 10

• What is the make and model of your computer?
• Are you referring to sound quality from the computer/ speakers/ headphones?
• Have you installed all the pending updates and drivers updates after upgrading to Windows 10?
• What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue?

This issue might have occurred due to outdated/ corrupted audio drivers. Let us try the below troubleshooting steps if not yet tried and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to run the Audio troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Method 2: I suggest you to change the properties of Windows Audio services and check if it helps.

Steps:

• 
  Click Start, type
  Services.msc in the Start Search box.

  Scroll down the list of services, right-click
  Windows Audio and select Start.

  Windows Audio and set its Startup Type to
  Automatic.
  

If the Windows Audio service does not start and you get the error
Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start, then make sure that the following services are started and their
Startup Type is set to Automatic.

Method 3: I recommend you to install all the pending updates on your device and check if it helps.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

AUDIO SERVICE NOT WORKING.

Hi,

In that case, I suggest you follow below.

Step 1:

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager, then select it from the results.

Step 2:

Select the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers to expand it.

Step 3:

Look for IDT High Definition Audio CODEC. If it's listed, right-click it and select Update Driver, then select Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Step 4:

You’ll see a list of pre-installed drivers. Select High Definition Audio Device, and then select Next.

Step 5:

Restart PC

Let me know the results after performing the above.
