Windows 10: Media Controls on the Windows 10 Lock Screen

How do I activate the media controls on my Windows 10 Lock Screen? My Lock Screen allows play music normally, but it no longer shows these media controls, as it did before an important Windows 10 update I don't remember if it was after version 1703, 1709, ... or 1809. The fact is that today I have Windows 10 Home Single Language in version 1909 and these controls only appear when the computer is unlocked, as shown in the image below. This problem occurs with Spotify, even when the "Show desktop overlay when using media keys" option is enabled. This problem also occurs with Groove Music and any other media player.





I request help to view these media controls also on the Lock Screen.


I use Kaspersky antivirus and my default internet browser is Microsoft Edge. Remembering that I already tried to change all the settings of the Lock Screen and I didn't see any option in that sense. My Lock Screen is configured to display Windows Highlights as the background.

nb: It may be to do with your zip code and or post code not being entered

In regard to your DVD Rom drive - go to -control panel/device manager/DVD/CD-ROM drives -make a note of the make and model number Example: Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-215D ATA Device - highlight the device you have installed -press right mouse button-select properties-details-property and select Install Date from the drop down list and let us know this.

No Lock screen in Windows 10.

• When you say that "rolling slideshow ", what exactly are you referring to?
• When you say that "I can't activate it again.", are you referring that you are not able to Activate Windows 10?
• What are the troubleshooting steps which you have performed to resolve the issue?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to set the lock screen pictures.

1. Right click on Desktop screen.

2. Then click on Personalize.

3. Click on Lock Screen.

4. Try to select the lock screen picture.
