Windows 10: Media Creation Tool, error 0x8007010B - 0xA0003

Really trying to set myself up for disaster recovery by creating a bootable USB installation drive. I downloaded the media creation tool which should be all I need. I first tried it on an NTFS formatted 256GB USB drive. That failed with this error. Googling told me it had to be FAT32 formatted, which isn't an option, the best I could manage was exFAT so I tried that. Same error. So I found a 32GB USB drive which I was able to format to FAT32. Tried that, same error. Each time it tries it feels the need to download Windows again - that's efficient. It's an Acer laptop with Windows 11 Home and &

Media Creation Tool Error Code 0x80070020-0xA0003

I have had windows 10 installed on my laptop since the release date, however I now get the black screen with the cursor and can not get into it to use safe mode.

I have d/loaded the media creation tool onto my other laptop which also has Win 10 installed onto it. However, when i try to create a

start up disk using either ISO or flash drive option i run into a error code. When i run the software i get past the first d/load 100% and second verifying 100% phases before getting error code 0x80070020-0xA0003 on the creating win 10 phase with the message
Were not sure what happened, but we weren't able to run this tool on your PC. If you continue experiencing problems, reference the error code when contacting customer support. Error code 0x80070020 - 0xA0003.
I would be extremely grateful for any ideas solving this annoying problem

Media creation tool

My hard disk drive blew it's connection port so I now have a new drive in the original PC. I tried to use the media creation tool to obtain a Windows iso. But my laptop I am getting it from keeps crashes out at 12% or so. Is there any other way around
this in order to get my licensed windows 10 up and running? Error code 0x60070013-0xA0003 I think. It disappeared quickly.
