Windows 10: Media Creation Tool keeps failing

I have repeatedly tried to download the Windows iso for both Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 using the respective Media Creation Tool but in vain.


In the case of Windows 8.1 a download error message saying download failed keeps appearing and, in the case of Windows 10, although my PC has been left switched on the whole night, the progress indication is still at 0%.

It simply has not moved. The same has been happening the whole week.


What could be the problem and is there any other way the iso's can be downloaded?
