Windows 10: Media Player for Windows 11 codecs??

Hello! I have created and saved videos that are encoded using H.264 and saved them to my device. However, when I try to open them, the Media Player for Windows 11 says there's an issue with how they're encoded. How can I find what codecs are included in the media player so I can change how I encode the videos? Everywhere I look describes how to find them on Windows Media Player which appears to no longer be an option for Windows 11! Thanks!!

Windows Media Player 11 Too Dark

Same Problem

My media player 10 worked perfectly until windows update gave me media player 11. I had the same dark/purple videos showing up as well. I uninstalled 11 and went back to 10, uninstalled my k-lite codec pack and reinstalled it, but I still have the same problem! Anybody know what this is?
