Windows 10: media player not starting on second laptop

Hi I have a problem with windows media player not showing pictures on another laptop or on the tv media player.I have 2 windows 11 laptops both at same latest software level called LEG chris and LEN Julie on same network.I have tried stopping Norton firewall, checking windows sfc and dism, reset, uninstalling and reinstalling media player enabling sharing etc.On the first laptop LEG I can select file explorer network media devices then select LEG windows media player legacy starts and I can see pictures On the first laptop LEG I can select file explorer network media dev

Have you tried running the troubleshooter for WMP? If not, we suggest that you try to run the troubleshooter and
see if it helps. To run the troubleshooter, follow these steps:

• 
  On the search bar, type
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on
  Programs.
  
• 
  Under
  Media
  Player, click on
  Windows Media Player Settings
  and
  Windows Media Player Library.

What is the exact error message you get when you to try play files on Windows Media Player?

I suggest you to run both Windows Media Player Library and Settings troubleshooter and check.
