Windows 10: Media streaming works, then doesn't. Windows 11 & Oppo blu ray player

Recently I set up media streaming to my blu ray player. Initially Windows just selected random music files from all over, not good because I have many music and video files located on multiple HDD's.Initially I was able to take the randomness out by relocating the Music folder to another drive and populate it with the files I wanted to access and stream. This to keep the C: drive from getting all cluttered up.This worked fine for a few days. Then it didn't, rinse and repeat. So I looked for other solutions outside of windows.Now I just had to restore a backup of Windows because I had tried an

Windows 10 Media Server/Streaming doesn't work.

I used to use the windows media server to stream video through my blu ray player. When I upgraded to windows 10 it no longer worked. I went through all of the steps again and had to turn it back on and which devices to allow access to but still it doesn't
work. I can see my blu ray player through the network map but the blu ray cant see the cpu. I just downloaded Plex Media Server and it works fine every time but I don't like it as much as the Windows server. Has anyone else had any problems like this? Any
help would be greatly appreciated.
