Windows 10: Media Tool Unable to Download to USB due to disk space and other error

I cant seem to download a bootable disk to my usb if my life depended on it....I'm borrowing my neighbors pc and need to return it but I NEED to fix my pc! I have deleted everything possible to gain space and even moved some of her files over to a usb I have that's empty....but her pc isn't updated and it wont update either....it says: (I took a screenshot and attached it)


any help would be fantastic, as my hands are tied, and I have tried nearly everything. Its all ive been trying to do for the last 2, going on 3 days...my head hurts...

disk space reduced after media creation tool

One of the possible reasons why your disk space was reduced is due to an unallocated disk space on your partitions. For us to isolate your concern, we suggest that you check your device's partition. To do this, follow the steps provided below:

• Type Computer Management on Ask me anything and press
  Enter.
• Select Storage and click on Disk Management.

Windows 10 media creation tool tells “need 8GB free disk space”

Hi - the Windows 10 media creation tool tells me I need 8GB of disk space but I have a 64GB USB drive it does not seem to see. Any suggestions? I am trying to install on ASUS Eeebook X205TA with 7GB free on the machine.

Error 0x80042405 might have occurred due to downloaded files went over 4GB but the tool was still prompting to download 4GB again. For us to troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you follow the suggested steps given by Greg Carmack on this
