    MediaCreationTool22H2 Error 0x80072F8F - 0x20000


    I have a 10 year old PC that was running windows 10, but I mistakenly factory reset to windows 7. When I run the MediaCreationTool22H2 to update my windows I get the error 0x80072F8F - 0x20000. It's an aliennware computer. Please help.

    The difference between 7 and 8 is huge. EasyFix not applying, KB3140245 not officially available.

    Install KB3140245 for Windows Embedded 8 Standard. Go to

    Media Creation Tool Error 0x80072F8F - 0x20000 in Windows 7/8

    and run the file enable_tls.reg.
