    Why are the apps for windows phone 8 different than the apps for Windows 8

    Actually, universal apps are now a thing. Microsoft has made it possible for developers to make a single app for Windows, Windows Phone and in the future, Xbox One. But developers have to enable this. For example, all of Disney's new mobile games are universal
    apps.

    What I meant was, all apps on Windows 10 should be universal. With Windows 8 / Windows Phone 8, its something the developer of the app has to actually design towards. Either way, there's no Amazon Seller app for Windows right now, so it's a relative moot
    point.
