Windows 10: MediaTek MT7921 Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter is "not operational"

My MediaTek MT7921 Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter is "not operational" shortly after a recent update. I had several 3? blue screens and then the WIFI just stopped working. Can I fix that? HP Pavilion laptop, Windows 11 Pro. I have run the HP Network Check and it confirms the issue. Thank you in advance

WIFI 6 (Mediatek MT7921) disconnects randomly

Wow! This is almost as good as the novel I'm currently reading! I just stumbled on this thread after googling "problem MediaTek MT7921 Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax PCIe Adapter" after having lost my wi-fi connection for the umpteenth time. This "phenomenon" began on a brand new, recently purchased HP laptop. Luckily, I have figured out how to reconnect, but now I'm annoyed that I have to keep reconnecting it. After all, it's a brand new laptop. Anyhow, I found it VERY interesting that you narrowed your problem to the router. Now, I'm not as computer savvy as others who have posted and I haven't noticed my Galaxy S20 losing wi-fi, but it's quite interesting what has been tried to solve this seemingly common problem among people with this particular adapter. And, of course, your final assessment. I wonder how many of us have faulty routers? How would I know if my router was faulty? And, if I also have a faulty router, what do I do? I've been connected via Comcast for about 6 years now - do I request a new router? Now that you narrowed your issues to the router, have you been able to ultimately solve your problem? WIFI 6 Mediatek MT7921 card not working after June 2022 update

Hello DangVS, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

I understand that the Mediatek MT7921 WIFI 6 device is not working properly;

Initially I recommend that you uninstall the device;

Right click on the start menu and go to Device Manager;

Click (>) Network adapters to expand the session;

Right click on the WIFI 6 Mediatek MT7921 and select Uninstall;

After uninstalling, restart the PC;

Go to the Microsoft Store and download the My Asus app;

Open the app and click on Customer Service;

In the LAN tab, download the latest driver for the wi-fi device;

Go to the location where you saved the driver;

Unzip the files;

Access the folder and open the Setup file to start the installation;

After the installation is complete, try to connect to the Wi-Fi network;

WIFI 6 (Mediatek MT7921) disconnects randomly

I didn't read all 4 pages but I was having this problem and went into

1.Device manager

2.Network Adaptors

3.Mediatek wifi MT7921

4.Right click

5.Properties

6. Advanced Tab

7.Change 802.11 to wireless AC instead of AX

Since doing this I haven't dropped Wi-Fi once and before it was every min or so. I don't think this has to do with my router, it supports AX as other devices don't drop except for this Wi-Fi card in ASUS laptop.
