    Medium And Small Icons Together


    Hi:


    For some reason Windows 10 likes to display both “medium and small” icons together in the same folders. I have them set for medium but when I open a folder most of the icons are medium but one, two or three are small.

    Most of the time when I back out of the folder, then go in again they all set to medium but sometimes even that doesn’t work. Anybody have any recommendations on how I can fix this?

    font size

    Hi,

    The only option for the desktop size fonts are Large icons,Medium icons, or Small icons. The default is medium icons.

    LOCK Desktop Icons with Windows 10 to stop them from randomly moving for no reason

    Based on GD's comment, I changed the icon size from small to medium, then back to small. This resulted in the icons being changed around somewhat. Then I moved some icons around, and change the size to medium and back to small. This time the icons stayed
    put.

    It will now be interesting to see if the icons stay put after I reboot.

    I forgot to mention that this does not happen in folders created by Windows. It seems to be isolated to only folders I create.

    Medium And Small Icons Together

    I just created a Folder on a WDC Passport HDD and Copied my data files from a Notebook into that Folder, no issues with the icon or thumbnail views.
