Windows 10: Mem Management BSOD during verifying unreal engine install

Hello I get a Memory management BSOD while the Epic Games Launcher is verifying an Unreal engine install. I have been getting this for a while now but it normally occurs randomly (Browsing the internet, Watching Videos and installing applications). Was previously on Windows 8.1 but is still occurring on Windows 10.

I have tried using both sets of ram separately and there is no issues but once both sets are plugged in I start getting issues. I have also increased the DRAM voltage setting in the bios to 1.53 (For what ever reason the bios shows the ram at 1.52) which seemed to make the occurrences decrease but they still happen.

Edit: Don't know if it is related in some way but when both sets of ram are installed my computer will not stay off and will boot back up after a few seconds. This doesn't happen with only one set.

Windows 10 BSOD CMUSBDAC.sys SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

I've reinstalled many engines after recovery. CryEngine, Unreal Engine and Unity. I also had a antivirus with the name of Baidu. I'm not sure if it's because of her or something like that. Other type of changes... no. Pretty much no. I've ran sfc /scannow
on cmd for the /dll files, nothign happened. I had 2 that I needed to have to run Unreal Engine, but I forgot their names. I basically saw a tutorial and downloaded the same .dll file from the internet, one 32 but, and one 64bit version, the 32 bit I put in
system 32, and the 64bit version in syswow64 or something like that, maybe it was the other way around, I'm sorry if I get something wrong here. For the BSOD's nothing, for the .dll files, I told you already sfc /scannow and those two .dll files.

 

memory management issue BSOD after upgrading from win 7 to 10

After unistalling Avast Antivirus I 'managed' to have restarts (no BSOD every 20 minutes) every hour or so. I managed to run verifier.On the first restart before even starting the windows a BSOD appear with the logo Driver Verifier critical something and
the iaStor.sys file was named.Is this the driver that could cause the problem?Ran sfc/scannow but no problem was noticed. At the same time an Office update that cannot be installed repeats the process of installing too many times - Update for Office 2003 (KB907417)
- Error 0x80096004. No dump file was created during verifier check

 

Hello, ICBMHeadshot and welcome to the forums. As you stated, all of your dumps are memory management. Am I correct you have 2 sets of ram bought at separate times? Some times there are minor differences in the manufacturing process and the sets are slightly different and cause problems. When you run 1 set and have no problems, do you always run the 2 sticks in the same slots? Try running 1 set and run them in the other 2 slots and see what happens.

You also are getting an awful lot of errors from Chrome. I would suggest, at least for a test, to uninstall Chrome and use another browser for a while and see what happens. Chrome has a lot of processes running in the background, which in some cases is what causes the computer to not shut down. Some process does not shut down and wants to keep on running. It happens often with anti virus programs too.

Try those 2 things separately, so we can try to identify the problem.
