    Memory Corruption One Bit BSOD AFTER fresh install - Large BSOD / Need help

    I have done a fresh instal' of Windows 10 less than 24 hours ago and have installed a small variety of games and software and have a blue screen.. any help is appreciated, dump file is attached but I'm hopeless now, I thought it was a driver but now I'm thinking it's hardware, but what piece of hardware needs replacing? I have installed Crysis, Valorant, Overwatch, Apex Legends and then some software to monitor temps and gpu tweak III. My GPU has a fair sized overclock of +160 and +600 RTX 2060 OC and my CPU is at 1.35V 3.9 GHZ Ryzen 5 2600. I have removed my old harddrive because I suspec

  2. BSODs with corrupt pagefile - Is That Possible?

    Past couple of days I have been having random BSODS. A few examples of the messages was - Memory management / IRQL less than or equal to/ Thread could not be activated/ Page Pool something or other.

    First BSODS I have had on this relatively new system so decided to take everything back to stock and test each part. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit BTW.

    HDtune error check - fine
    Memtest86 - 10 passes fine
    Prime 95 - 7hrs overnight fine
    Graphics card - furmark/3DMark fine

    Go to play a bit of WOW last night and it locks up straight away with memory management issue. So I looked into it a bit and read that it could possibly be a virtual memory/pagefile issue and that if it is corrupted it may cause these issues.

    I then set the pagefile to zero and enabled clear pagefile on shutdown in the registry. When it rebooted I let the amount be set by Windows and disabled the registry entry for clearing it on shutdown and will see how it goes.

    I had never heard of this issue before causing BSODS, is it common and what should be the next step if I get another one today with the new pagefile in place?

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile Memory Corruption One Bit BSOD AFTER fresh install - Large BSOD / Need help :)

    Need help with BSOD Vista 32 bit SP2

    You can try re-installing it, but if the bsod returns, try a different A/V solution. Panda is OK, but it ain't in my top ten list. Just my opinion.
