Windows 10: Memory Integrity HVCI Malfunction

Hello. Yesterday I enabled the Defender feature called Hypervisor Protected Code Integrity, or HVCI, on my windows 11 computer, and after rebooting, everything seemed to work fine. I then turned off the computer. After a while, I turned the laptop back on and the main screen started flickering intermittently and then turned off. I moved the mouse to the secondary screen and the laptop returned to displaying the image. I put the mouse back on the laptop screen and it went black again. The second screen did not turn off at any time. I disabled the feature and the computer worked fine ag

Will memory integrity or HVCI be made to work compatibly with Intel Graphics 3000? Currently windows notified me I cant use the driver with memory integrity, and my resoltion was reduced to 1024x768.

Is there a workaround or fix being implemented so that I can use Intel Graphics 3000 and also enable Memory Integrity HVCI together?

 

Windows 10 - Memory Integrity - Incompatible Drivers

Hi Kurnn,

I haven't tried deleting the files as of yet because I need my laptop for work, and I don't want to risk causing any stability issues in the meantime.

It's all a bit puzzling because my memory integrity setting was enabled before I intentionally disabled it for 64-bit virtualisation.

I'm also sure the drivers listed above were present whilst Memory Integrity was enabled before. I suspect there will be no conflict when I get the setting re-enabled. Could there be a solution which involves temporarily disabling the drivers so my system doesn't detect them whilst I re-enable memory integrity?

Autoruns lists each driver with a checkbox alongside, but disabling them had no effect, and my system still detects the conflicting drivers.

I appreciate the suggestion, but could there be another way, before I resort to deleting system files?

Memory integrity will not turn on

Thank you for bringing this up. On our understanding, you're trying to enable
Memory Integrity under Windows Defender. This feature is important against the injection or execution of malicious codes and malware. This said feature is disabled by default.
This is also known as “Hypervisor protected Code Integrity” (HVCI) based here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...ndows-defender-exploit-guard/memory-integrity

The Memory Integrity uses system's virtualization hardware, which is found under the BIOS/UEFI, and this hardware can only be used of one application at a time. Therefore, if you're using

Nested Virtualization on Hyper-V or any of your virtual machines, this will prohibit enabling the Memory Integrity at the same time.
