    Memory Issue Running A Visual Basic Program


    I have a program that is written in Visual Basic. It uses "Microsoft .NET Framework" as well as DirectX. I frequestly get an error message pop up saying I am out of memory while running the program despite seeing that it is using a small fraction of my available computing power. Does anyone know why this might be happening? This happens on all Windows operating system as far as I can tell Windows 11, 10, XP, etc..

    Hi Geeker13,

    Are you experiencing this problem when using Microsoft Visual Basic? Or when running any program unrelated to Visual Basic? In the mean time, try installing the latest Windows updates since an update for the Microsoft Visual Basic might be oferred. Running
    the System File Checker and Deployment Image Servicing and Management command-utility tool might also help resolve the issue. To do so, follow the steps below:

    1. Open the Start menu, type cmd, right-click on
      Command Prompt       and select Run as administrator.
    2. Input the following command-line and press Enter after each line.

      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

      sfc /scannow

    Windows 10 validity and Visual Basic issue

    Go into Windows 10, click on the windows key then the icons right above the windows key which lists all available programs, go down to Visual Studio and then click on Visual Basic. This should get you back to square one.

    Programming Visual Basic Help Needed !!

    I am using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and using the basic settings.

    I need to know how I can only input the numbers 1 to 10 in a form of textbox. If I can't achieve this by a textbox then could you come up with a solution please?


    What I need:

    1 . I need the user to be able to only input the numbers 1 to 10.
    2. If the user inputs anything other than the numbers then a msgbox will appear stating to only use the numbers.

    P.S Step by step guide in how to achieve this please ^_^
