Memory leak ? icons and preview disapear, Ghost RAM usage

E: and F: drives are very full. I don't think that they're full enough to cause these sort of problems, but you never know.

You have these problem devices in Device Manager:
Please install the chipset drivers for your Intel chipset ( Intel® Download Center ) and your Realtek PCIE CardReader ( Realtek ). If unable to find them there, use the Win8.1 drivers from the Acer website (and run the installer in Compatibility Mode): Download Drivers and Manuals | Acer Official Site

The following devices are also listed, but don't appear to be a problem (the Code 45 for each of them means that they are no longer connected to your computer - it's the number at the end of each line). This is a change to Device Manager in Win10 and we'll have to see how it ends up being listed in the release version of Win10:

I'd suspect that the Mapped files is just a summation of all the files that are mapped into memory.
We'll need to see the stuff in the File Summary tab and the File Details tab in order to get a start.
You can also save/export a report, zip it up and upload it here for us to have a look at.

@usasma thanks again for your help.

I installed the drivers, Intel driver ultility do detect latest driver but cant install it, i think it don't recognize windows 10. So I installed the one from Acer site and it worked perfectly. I also installed all other driver available just in case.

I redone all dump and event log so that you can check again if there are other issues still remaining (Drive full for F and E is not an issue as they are just Data drives) :

    WIN-M0OA4IJE0SA-2014-12-02_215817_61.zip AND Admin.zip

For RAMMAP, I google yesterday and find a lot of stuff plus a fix, it is in fact issue with SetSystemFileCacheSize it is being discussed on following link (last post) : and there is small utility at the second link to set that value of Cache or flush it ( I flushed then set the max value to 2GB). I used it and it seem to work nicely. (I hope this can help others so sharing it)

windows 7 - Memory Usage by Mapped Files (Win7 64Bit) - Super User
and utilities here : NT Cache Setter

Thanks again for taking your time to help, appreciate it so much *Smile

Operations on a full drive will take up space. For example, if you're deleting a file, Windows will make a copy in the empty space before deleting the file. If the file is sent to the Recycle Bin, it'll take up space there also. I'm not certain of the sequence of events there, but I do know if you try to delete a file that's larger than the free space on the drive - the deletion will most likely fail (it has happened to me!)!

You've fixed the problem devices and I don't see any further issues in the report.

I have to wonder if changes to the cache settings are needed. What if there's a malfunctioning program that's causing this usage (IMO this is the most likely cause)? In this case the cache settings may work, or the malfunctioning program may just take even more space.

I'd like to see screen shots of the File Summary and File Details tabs in RAMMAP
Or, you can zip up and upload a copy of the RAMMAP log file (File...Save...and save as an .RMP file)
