    Memory management and kernel malfunction

    Hi,

    I got a problem with my P57X v7 Gigabyte 16go Ram, i7-7700HQ, win10 installed on SSD 500go m2 PCIe, I got a 1to HDD.

While playing War Thunder game, and using Discord app I experiences theses problems:

    Yesterday I got a kernel BSOD: I do chkdsk.exe

And it seems to be functional again,..

By security I moved some go of data from my SSD to my HDD.

Today I got a memory management BSOD: I'm actually a memory management diagnotizing.

But during these 2 event, the automatical restart get me a BIOS screen.

I navigate into it to see if all seems normal.

It appears that I've never found the SSD disk in these options.

Then I quit this BIOS and start again, then the windows 10 was opening normally.

    Shall I fear a SSD out-run/knocked out?

    I only recently made some update from1809 to 1909 win10 x64bits version.

I wanted to know If I shall use the warranty right now.

    :)

Surface Pro Kernel Memory Dump When It Turn On Every time!

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

As the dump file is kernel memory dump file. Please note that it records only the kernel memory. This speeds up the process of recording information in a log when your computer stops unexpectedly. You must have a pagefile large enough to accommodate
your kernel memory. The page file must be on the boot volume. Otherwise, a memory dump cannot be created. Before we provide any suggestions, I would like to confirm few things:

    1. Could you please elaborate the statement: I got a very strange thing my Surface Pro Memory Dump when I turn on it everytime, but It don't happen if I just reboot after turn on?
    2. Are you getting blue screen while booting or while using Windows?
    3. Which version of Windows 10 are you using?

Meanwhile you can try the steps provided in the article: Bug
    Check 0x9F: DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
(based on the dump files analyzation).

    We await your reply.

    Regards,

    BSOD- memory management

Upon checking the dump file, the issue is being caused by ntoskrnl.exe. Ntoskrnl.exe is the one responsible for memory management that is why you're having the Memory Management error. We suggest that you follow the steps found in the link that we provided
in our last reply to resolve the issue. Please take note that if you're overclocking your processor or video card, kindly reset their settings to default.

Let us know the outcome after performing the provided steps.
