    Menu flickering, keypad restricted


    When I switched on my HP EliteDesk 800 desktop pc operating windows 11 this morning, I find I am no longer able to use basic functions. For example, when I use the mouse to open the start menu, the menu flashes open for a split second and then disappears. Similarly if I try to type or open a programme, it seems to flash for a split second and not perform any action. Tried different mouse and keyboard but same issue. There was a windows update KB5022287yesterday but this didn't seem to finish and there was a message about trying to reverse changes etc.. At the moment, some functions of mouse

    Flickering black desktop

    Thank you for your reply. I tried safe mode, and that stopped the task bar from flickering but nothing else responds other than the control alt delete menu. I can't open anything other than command prompt though, so I can't try most of the other suggestions on that list.

    Screen flickering in Windows 10 safe mode

    I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.

    ATI X1950 PRO random flickers

    I found the force menu...
    what would you suggest change? the refresh rate?
    Since these flickers really are occasional, I am not sure thats the issue.
