Hi all, I'm trying to game or at least pretend I can game on rocket league and Apex and randomly my controller will lose all input and spin me in a circle. I thought it was a bug with the pad, so bought a new one and the same is happening. When I click the search bar, it's scrolling like this [https://streamable.com/goslhz]https://streamable.com/goslhz and seemingly confusing the controller input. I've ruled out input devices being pressed by disconnecting Keyboard, Mouse and Controller all at the same time and it continues. I've tried ScanHealth / Restore health to no success Turned au

Controller glitching causing infinite scrolling up, even when unplugged.

There are times when if I have a controller plugged in through usb, it will sometimes glitch out and constantly scroll up. It is not guaranteed to happen if plugged in but once it happens there is no stopping it unless the system is restarted, not even unplugging it stops the scrolling. This is annoying because any menu that accepts controller input scrolls up at a speed which makes it so I can't select a single thing with my mouse, I can't even turn off my computer through the start menu. I know that it's my controller causing the problem because I tested it in accessories, and it showed this input constantly (image). When this glitch doesn't happen, the controller works normally and has no drift. A step that I have taken to try to stop it is to disable the device in device manager, but even that does not work. I have also tried updating it in device manager and xbox accessories. Can anyone help? I'm hoping to not have to restart my computer every time this glitch happens, because even restarting my computer is inconvenient and difficult.

No Fan Control menu item in ATITool 0.26

    .27b3 problems with 8800GT 256MB

I tried the .27b3 and encountered some problems.
    • Default profile comes up 0.00 / 0.00
    • App hard locks
    • Still no fan menu
In the setup menu the following items appear:
    • Overclocking
    • Artifact scanning
    • Temperature monitoring
    • Gamma control
    • Startup
    • 3D-detection
    • Driver tweeks
    • Miscellaneous
I'm running XP SP2 running NVIDIA 169.21 drivers.

The device details are displayed correctly now.

Scroll bar on main menu scrolls straight to last item

When I click on the scroll bar of the main windows menu (bottom left button) and start to scroll down, the scrolling then continues automatically to the last item on the list so that I can't access the others. It is as if gravity has taken charge! There is no problem with scroll bars in web windows or in Excel. I think the same problem was happening in Word last week but it is not today. I have tried following various recommended fixes including a clean boot, running Windows defender scan and switching off some mouse functions. I am no computer expert so it is possible I have perforemd all these actions correctly. Nothing has solved the problem. I've also tried a different mouse.
Any suggestions as to what is the cause of the problem and how I might fix it would be very much appreciated. The graphics card is fairly ancient: could this be the problem?
