Windows 10: Merged my desktop to my games drive

    Merged my desktop to my games drive


    I have a separate NVME set up solely for game files and launchers. My desktop had only browser apps and a few files on it until a newly installed game created a desktop shortcut. I wanted to remove it from the desktop just to be neat, but I for some reason I right clicked and mindlessly accepted things and now my desktop and my games drive X: mirror each other and it changed the name from Desktop to just D:/Whatever is done in the games drive is reflected on the my desktop and vice versa. I want to separate them back to normal obviously so I can clean up my desktop and to not have unwanted

    Merged Desktop with D drive

    So my desktop was filling up space on my C drive, which is a 180gb SSD, so i tried to change the location to my D drive which is a 2tb HDD, but it merged the two and i cant revert the desktop back because my Program files on D are filled with games so
    its too big for C and i cant move those program files anywhere else.

    Desktop merged with hard drive

    I was messing around with my hard drive trying to move my downloads, documents, etc. to the hard drive, but I somehow merged my desktop and hard drive, so now in quick access is doesn't appear as desktop
    it appears as D:/, how do I undo this?
