Windows 10: Message about Microsoft windows license expired

Just received a voicemail message informing me that my microsoft window license has expired on my computer and left a phone number for me to call. I tried calling microsoft windows tech support but didn't get through. Is this a scam?

I have recently factory restored my hp envy windows 10. Now i have this message "WINDOWS LICENSE WILL EXPIRE SOON". Im not sure if this is important but i have sent in my hp envy for warranty repairs on the hard disk drive. I bought my hp with windows 10 home edition, but when I sent it in for repairs it came back with windows 10 pro. Any suggestions

First things first, call the company and ask what is going on??

Your license should not be expiring. What does this message suggest you do, just in case it is Malware. Please don't click on links in message. Can you post a screen shot? (Picture with phone)

Windows license expiration message

I was getting the same message about a year ago. Eventually, the license expired and I was limited as what I could do. Windows 10 Pro was installed on my laptop by a laptop repair shop. I am retired and not working so the organization message did not make
sense to me. I simply dug out my receipt for the 10 Pro installation and returned the laptop to the installer. He did apologize for the message and he activated the W 10 Pro account license with a digital license associated to my Microsoft account. It has
been fine ever since. Try to get this association performed prior to the expiration of your current license. This association took just minutes to perform and he did not charge me.
