    Message in windows phone app - for recovery etc.


    FYI the messages and other phone data synced to and saved in the PC phone link app are in the C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.YourPhone_GOBBLDEYGOOK\LocalCache\phone.db and other DB files which are standard sqlite databse files. In case you ar elike me, backed up an android device, got a new phone, and found out that the android message/MMS backup is far from adequate... at least some of the synced ones are here.

    Supported phones for Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Mobile

    Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

    When my phone fails to upgrade I just keep trying. One upgrade took 3 or 4 tries.
