Windows 10: Messenger calls taking over all sound volume controls Windows 11

My Messenger call seems to take control of all my volume sounds on my computer as well as lower all other volume. I have tried what was mentioned in this Post for Windows 10: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/facebook-messenger-lowering-sound-on-all/b01940d3-aae2-4712-8277-10304d0491fcHowever the first solution just made it that all volume is evenly loud.I cannot do the second one as it seems specific to Windows 10.Any tips to not have messenger A: not override all Volume,B: Lower the volume of every other application as well like what the first solution in above post prov

Nokia 5230 - beep sound during call, volume control not working properly

Dear All,



There is an annoying beep sound (pretty loud) during calls and the volume control is automatically at the maximum. When I try to bring down the volume using the volume control switch on the side, the volume bar slides all the way to the very lowest and not
in steps.



I tried googling but I could not find anything.



Can someone please suggest what to do? Many thanks in advance.

The issue with volume control could have happened due to the corrupted or outdated driver. To resolve your issue, we suggest that you follow the 2 methods below:

Method 1: Run the Audio Troubleshooter on the system.



Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. We would suggest you run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio



Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key+X, select Control panel.
• Change the view as an option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter

Method 2. Uninstall and reinstall the latest drivers from the manufacturer website.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.
• Right-click on the Sound card and click on Uninstall.
• Install the latest audio driver from the manufacturer website.

No It didnt appear in my spam box but I updated to Windows live Messenger which sent the confirmation email and also verified windows messenger. Ty everyone for there suggestions
