    MFPlat.DLL error status 0xc000012f


    When I signed on the other day, the following error box popped up: "c:\Windows\System32\MFPlat.DLL is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator on or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f." Several things appear not to be working properly any more but the most obvious one is that I cannot type text into the search box. I ran 'scanhealth' and 'restorehealth' at the command prompt and the programs executed successfully but this did not fix the probl

    The code can be caused by lots of things its not confined to one thing it suggest the problem is with playerfab.exe and the dll is either wrong type ie 32 bit or is corrupted 0xc000012f - how to fix error

    Hi there, I keep getting an error message when I start up my laptop, and I've tried a few steps online to resolve the issue but no luck.

    it seems to be a system 32 error and the error code or status is - Error status 0xc000012f
