Windows 10: Mi Notebook Laptop wifi keeps disconnecting

Hi team,


I got the newly released Mi Notebook 14. However, from the beginning my WiFi keeps disconnecting every 10-15 minutes or it says 'No internet' even if all other devices connected to that network would be working fine. I've faced this problem across mobile hotspots to different WiFi network than my home network. In all cases, it was set as 'Connect Automatically'. Two questions -

1. How do I figure if this is a WiFi driver/hardware issue or a Windows issue?

2. How do I get said issue fixed?

• If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.

• If you do not have an identical laptop see this post and the three replies for possible solutions: Wifi disconnects every 5 minutes.
