    Mic Activation - was working, now can't activate


    My device Latitude 5490 How do I activate the microphone - I have been using it on zoom calls, and now it's not working - I've tried in settings, but it doesn't seem to allow me to activate the microphone, zooms tells me to activate my microphone. There's a blue function key for mic, but when I select it, nothing happens. Any ideas?

    Unable to Activate Win 8

    I was about to suggest run CMD as Admin and then do a "slmgr -ipk xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx" activation...does anyone know if that works with win8?

    USB Mic Problems.

    The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.
